Charles Nagel is a singer-songwriter, creating a unique fusion of Christian music, jazz, and ballads. His heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies resonate deeply with those seeking inspiration and connection. Charles aims to spread hope and personal connection to the Lord through his music, encouraging listeners to explore their faith and emotions.

A native Texan, Charles resides in the Nashville area. A father of 4 girls who are now moms, Charles writes from personal experiences as inspired by the Father. His favorite genres are jazz and classical and his compositions bring these to the Christian music scene. He will often use large string orchestras or big bands to add depth and breadth of sound and layers.

Educated as a trumpet player, Charles spent years in jazz and classical genres. His high school jazz band won the All American Jazz competition over 1,100 entries. He shifted gears earning an electronics engineering degree but stayed in touch with music. 

He began to write christian songs in the mid to late 1990s, many of which you can hear on this site, and decided after over 30 years to do the arrangements and record them.
